Opium, morphine, heroin and codeine
Pain meds: hydrocodone (Vicodin most used) and oxycodone (OxyContin most used)
Amphetamines
Dexedrine and Adderall eg. Produce effects by causing release of noropinephrine and dopamine, blocking reuptake. Highten wakefulness, inhibit intestinal functions and suppress appetite. (used in dieting)
Methamphetamine
Most commonly abused stimulant drug.
Cocaine
Made from coca leaves. Crack; Crystal that is smoked (cheaper). Vasoconstrictor, narrowing the vessels.

opioid substitutes; similar drug to replace the craving (methadone and buprenorphine (suboxone))
Opioid antagonists; prevent user from experiencing high ; naltrexone
