The roadway is 165-175 feet above the river at water level. Pumpers attempting to pressurize these standpipes must place 150 PSI in the system for a satisfactory stream at road level. Where are the standpipe locations?

2 intakes are under the bridge on the West side of ridge ave. a 6” riser feeding 3 outlets on the roadway, 2 south and 1 north. The 1st due ladder has a key to the in ground grate that contains the drain valve. THIS VALVE MUST BE CLOSED BEFORE PRESSURIZING THE SYSTEM.

1 intake on Krail St. The outlet is on ridge ave, East of the East River drive at the southbound OFF ramp.

1 intake is on Scotts lane. The outlet is on lower level under the overpass.

1 intake is on Henry ave. the outlet is on lower level under the overpass.

There are markers along both sides of the extension, how are they organized?

They run northbound ascending order from the schuylkill expressway labeled N-1 to N-32 consecutively. Southbound markers are labeled in ascending order from 9th st hand marked S-1 to S-32 consecutively.
