histo/cyto: ALP+ (red cytoplasm), bone and cartilage formation, pleomorphic mesenchymal scells, dark-staining osteoid
adolescents, 2M:1F
progessively enlarging
painful
60% are in the knee

XR findings in Osteosarcoma
A
- metaphysial lytic lesions
- elevated periosteum (Codman’s triangle)
- sunburst appearance
