  • EK representative responsible during scheduled stops

INAD (inadmissible) - no threat, no number limitation or authorisation required;

A

In all cases CPT and PUR should be advised when person(s) and their escorts and family (if any) are on board. They board and disembark after all passengers

DEPO (deportee) - only accepted with written removal directions (routing and flights on which the person will be deported), PUR keeps their travel documents throughout the flight. If they are restrained to be treated as persons in custody (prisoners). Not allowed to disembark without jurisdiction from the authorities. 2 types:
DEPU (unattended) - no more than one on the flight (except families)
DEPA (attended) - no more than 8 on the flight.
Group Security can grant an exception so more can be carried.

A

Person in custody (prisoner) - escorted at all times under close personal supervision and custody of the escorts. To be seated at the back, off the aisle, close to a toilet and away from an emergency exit

UM (unaccompanied minor)

A

Between 5-12 years, traveling without an accompanying adult.
PUR responsible for them - gets them from ground staff, makes sure they stay on board during transit stop, hands them to ground staff after landing (also in the event of flight disruption)

No extra crewmembers required, no limit of UMs !

Offloading of missing passanger baggage

A

Starts at STD-15

  • If passenger is part of a family, only his bags (under his name) get offloaded
  • If passenger part of a group all bags get offloaded. Baggage identification can be done (Senior Airport Service official decides) so the bags of the remaining passengers from the group can be loaded
  • If passenger is located before his bags are offloaded, he can travel (CPT discretion)
  • If passenger is located after the bags are offloaded, he WILL NOT be accepted for the flight
