Section 267 Power to enter licensed premises - abilitys

What does SCAB stand for
Speech Coordanation Appearance Behaviour 2 or more need to be evident
Restricted vs supervised area for patrons
Restricted area- No minors
Supervised - Under 18 with parent or legal guardian supervision
Section 269 Power to demand information - rules
You must have reasonable cause to suspect commiting an offence
Cant demand details from everyone
Arrest 269(3) - Refusing to give details
Exceptions for staff to be under 18 in liscenced premis
Restricted and supervised area-
Clean, repair, maintain
Serve meals
Supervised only-
Sell and supply alcohol
Offences by managers

Close for max of 24 hours from the end of the day the order was made for-

What information must prominantly be displayed at a licenced premises?
A copy of the alchohol licence
The duty managers name
What is vicarious liability?
The licensee or manager is legally liable as well for offences committed by bar staff
What proof of age documents will be accepted?
Passport
NZ Drivers licence
Kiwi access card (18+ card)
Defence for allowing a minor on premisis
Staff claim to have viewed a document stating they were 18+
