PHYSIO MANAGEMENT:
Breathing exercises, airway clearance, mobilisation
Outcome measures: Modified British research council breathlessness scale (5 pt scale)
Asthma
Asthma is a heterogenous disease, characterised by chronic airway inflammation. Defined by history of reparatory Sx such as a wheeze, SOB, chest tightness and cough, that vary over time in intensity, together with variable expiratory airflow limitation.
Bronchiectasis
bronchiectasis is a chronic respiratory disease characterised by a clinical syndrome of cough, sputum production and bronchial infection, and radiologically abnormal ad permeant dilation of the bronchi.
CF
