objections Flashcards

Q

What do you need to ask yourself when writing your copy (about objections)

A

You need to ask yourself why someone might not take action here.

What limiting beliefs might they have.

What fears might they have.

What reasons or excuses might they throw out for not purchasing

Make a list of these and use the best ones in your copy

Q

What are the top 6 most popular objections

A
  1. I don’t have the time (that’s not true most of the time)
  2. They don’t have the money (this isn’t true - If you truly want something which is going to improve your life you’ll get the money)
  3. Lack of belief in themselves - You really need to fix this, you can take the responsibility away from their past by saying it wasn’t their fault.
  4. Lack of trust
  5. Confusion
  6. Fear: Example: Scared to fail, scared to go to the gym etc)

(you don’t have to solve these in each piece of copy)

Q

Whats the first pattern to overcome and demolish objections (also when can you use them)

A

Can be used at the beginning of your copy or just before the close.

Step 1: Call the objection out Example: “Hey man you might be wondering XYZ” Then soften it down

Step 2: Validate then reframe - Don’t say that their emotions are stupid unless you want to piss someone off - Be like “What your thinking about is a valid concern…” Then change it into a new perspective “And that’s a valid thing to ask at this stage, you’ve tried a lot of stuff, you’re not sure if it’s going to work for you”.

Step 3: Give them a target or go for the close - If you’re early on in the copy, then you say “As you watch this video look for things that make this different than everything else” If you’re about to close “Every other program does this, we do this - then add a close”

Q

What is the agreement pattern

A
  1. Agree to their objection
  2. Define what you’re agreeing with
  3. Provide target or close

Example Pre Close: “Hey, perhaps you’re wondering that this isn’t for everybody. I agree with you, this product does not work for everybody. If you’re an aelian, a dog, a cat or a bird this will not work for you. But if you’re a human being that follows basic biology of the human (which every human including you does) these principles are going to work for you. As you watch the next few videos you will start to see ways people just like you who have experienced the benefit.

Example post close: “Hey, you might be wondering “is this right for me” or “does this work for everybody” I have to tell you, this does not work for every single person in the world. It doesn’t work for cats, dogs, snakes, or lizards. But if you’re a human being, so if you’re a human being, does this work for you? Yes, hit them with the close

Q

Whats the exclusion method

A

Example: “If you’re the type of person that isn’t willing to put in hard work and sacrifice, then im going to end this right here. This is going to take hard work and sacrifice in order to see results, and if you’re not willing to do that then i don’t even want to put my energy into a person like you, so click off now if you’re that person and go back to eating your diritos”

This gets rid of people who would’ve never purchased, and has people who were feeling 20% of that objection feel too ashamed to back down and go back to eating doritos like a PUSSY.
