Inability to absorb zinc from diet
Signs appear on first few months of life after changing from breast milk to formula
Sx: vesiculobullous lesions on eczematous, dry, scaly skin around mouth and perineal area
Alopesia with reddish hair
Conjunctivitis, glossitis, nail dystrophy, diarrhea, growth delay
Infection with candida
