Ebstein anomaly presentation
Downward displacement Of an abnormal tricuspid valve into the right ventricle the dividing the ventricle into two parts and atrializing part of the ventricle.
May present later in life with palpitations, fatigue, or even SVT coma it’s associated with Wolff- Parkinson White syndrome, Holosystolic murmur due to tricuspid regurg
Marfan syndrome associated heart murmur
Aortic regurg
Aortic root dilation
Diastolic high pitched blowing murmur at the upper to mid left sternal border
PDA
Treatment with indomethacin is given soon after birth in premature infants starting within the first 12 hours of life. It is contraindicated in term or near term infant.
In an old infant 2 months old do a transcatheter closure of the lesion in cath lab
Cyanotic newborn
Most common cyanotic lesion presenting in the newborn is transposition of the great arteries need to have PDA, ASD, VSD to mix the blood
Open with IV prostaglandin E1
