1
Q

Q

NTD: diagnosis & prevention & causes

A

measure for maternal serum a-fetoprotein

ultrasound

Causes: environmental, genetic, diet

give them FOLIC ACID!

(Folic acid pre-conceptually (3 mo) and for the 1st trimester reduces incidence by 70% )
