Objection: No, I’m not interested in selling my property on 123 Main Street.
I understand.. however, if I were to get you a great offer at or above market price would you at least consider it?
Objection (2): No I have no interest in selling that property.
Okay, I get that. Do you by chance have any other multifamily properties in the area that you might consider selling?
Objection (3): No, I am not interested in selling any of my properties at this time.
I understand! So just to be clear, if I, or a client of mine is going through a 1031 exchange that I know your property would be perfect for, and they would be willing to pay market price or higher, I shouldn’t bother giving you a call?
Objection (4): Correct, don’t bother giving me a call.
Understand. Are you looking to buy other multifamily properties today or in the near future?
Objection (5): No, I am not looking to buy another property either.
I understand. Well, John, would you mind if I were to follow up with you in the next six to twelve months to see if anything has changed?
