middle meatus: drains thru the infundibulum and into the hiatus semilunaris region
where does the maxillary sinus drain?
middle meatus also
where does the nasolacrimal duct drain?
inferior meatus
what are the blood supplies to the nose?
external carotid –> sphenopalantine artery
internal carodid –> ophthalmic artery
what are the sensory nerves to the nose?
ophthalmic = anterior + superior olfactory = roof of nose maxillary = posterior wall of nose
maxillary is what hurts when you swab the back of the nose
