  • Hypotension
  • Hypovolemia
  • Intercranial bleeding
  • Traumatic head injury
  • ED drugs (Last 24-72 hrs)

Nitroglycerine: Dose/Admin

A

Adult
Tablet: 0.03mg SL. May repeat in 3-5 minutes. (Three dose max.)
Spray: 0.4mg SL. 1-2 sprays. May repeat in 3-5 minutes. (Three dose max.)

Maintenance drip: 5-10mcg/min, diluted in NS/D5W, if needed. Titrated to patient response.

Pediatric
Not recommended.
