1.National Institute of Labour Economics research and development(NILERD) :

Objective:research, data collection, education & training in all aspects of human capital planning, HRD and monitoring and evaluation.

Formerly known as Institute of applied manpower research. (IAMR)

2.Development Monitoring and Evaluation office.(DMEO)

Functions:

a) monitor implementation of government programmes
b) Help ministries in designing Terms of Reference (TORs) for evaluation studies
c) monitor implementation & progress of SDGs
d) promote spirit of cooperative federalism
e) conduct evaluation of government programs

A

Draft is prepared by NITI Aayog->submitted to union cabinet->after approval placed before NDC for its acceptance->presented to parliament->with its approval, it emerges as official plan and published in official gazzette.

NDC is the highest body below the parliament.

NDC is advisory body to NITI Aayog & it’s recommendations are not binding

NDC is a bridge between central government state government and planning Commission
