Recent flight experience for night
Within the preceding 90 days you must have made as sole manipulator of the controls at least 3 takeoffs and 3 landings to a full stop in the category and class of aircraft within the period from one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise.
Definition of night
Night means the time between the end of evening civil twilight and the beginning of morning civil twilight.
Civil twilight
The time when the sun reaches 6° below the horizon.

Stationary light appears to move.
Airport lighting: civil, military, heliport, runways, taxiways
- civil - white/green
- military - white/white/green
- lighted heliport - green/yellow/white
- runways – white then amber
- taxiways - blue
