Difference between tabloid and broadsheet?
Tabloid:
- Popular press
- Compact in size
-Lighter news: celeb gossip, sports news (sensationalised news)
Broadsheet:
- More serious news
- More depth to story
-Aimed at higher social grouping, more factual
The daily mirror vs The times audience?

How does the language differ?
The times has more text and it is polysyllabic whereas the mirror is colloquial and monosyllabic with more images
What is newspaper bias?
Despite journalistic ideal of objectivity every story is influenced with the attitudes and background of its interviewers, writers and photographers by thing such as word choice and tone.
