Funct - agree with new right arguing that there needs to be a value consensus and traditional values are neccessery in society because it maintains social order - Biology with roles

  • Marx - New right legitimises class inequality because they criticise the re- distribution of wealth thus legitimising class inequality. see the disprivilaged the working class and under class as the cause for all negatives in socitey ignoring wider issues
  • Feminism- Criticises new right suggesting that they reinforce patriarchy and oppression ie in favour of biological roles such as expressive and iinstrumental- social constructed roles , refueses to see how times have chnaged- regressive
