Steps to forming crystals of soluble salt

A
  • Heat dilute acid using bunsen burner (in beaker)
  • Slowly add insoluble base until it stops reacting and is in excess
  • Filter out excess
  • Gently heat solution using water bath
  • Filter solution
  • Dry crystals
