Dopamine, noradenaline and adrenaline

Tyrosine hydroxylase is present in all catecholaminergic neurons, which include dopaminergic neurons, noradrenergic neurons and adrenergic neurons. Tyrosine hydroxylase converts the amino acid tyrosine into L-DOPA, L-DOPA is then converted into dopamine by dopamine decarboxylase. Dopamine is then converted to noradrenaline, and noradrenaline is then converted to adrenaline.
