- Optic disc cupping: cup to disc ratio >0.7 (norm 0.4-0.7)
- Optic disc pallor
- Bayonetting of vessels (breaks as disappear into cup, re-appear at base)
- +/- cup notching where vessels enter disc
- +/- disc haemorrhages
