Sensory receptors and initiates a response through effecter organ (muscle and glands)
What is the PNS separated into ?
Sensory division and motor division
What does motor divisions do?
Impulses from CNS (efferent)
What does sensory division do?
To CNS (afferent)
What can the efferent (motor division) be?
Somatic NS voluntary (skeletal muscle) Autonomic Involuntary (Cardiac muscle glands)
What dies integrative functions do?
Collect sensory info and make decisions that motor functions carry out
What do motor functions stimulate?
effectors to respond
