17
Q

How old is a Term infant?

A

Over 37 weeks gestation

18
Q

What does TTN stand for?

A

Transient Tacypnoea

19
Q

What is Transcient tacyponea (TTN)?

A

Retained amniotic fluid within the lungs
Found in term babies
Baby grunts

20
Q

What does NEC stand for ?

A

Necrotising enterocolitis

21
Q

What are the signs of NEC?

A

Intramural gas
After perforation gas is central (footbal sign) remember - supine

22
Q

How would you image for perforation in neonates?

A

Left lateral decubitus - right goes up so liver is up instead of stomach to avoid confusion of gastric bubble
Or
Horizontal or lateral shoot through - (no turning of baby )
