  • Foot points downwards at ankle (equinus)
  • Heel is turned in or up (varus)
  • Midfoot deviated towards midline (adductus)
  • First MT points downwards (cavus)

What is the aetiology of club foot?

A
  • Environmental & genetic factors
  • Associated with various diseases (CP, spina bifida)
  • If untreated, can result in long term disability & pain

A
  • In utero between 12-20 weeks
  • Ratio male:females 2:1
  • 50% bilateral
