The negatives of natural wood?

A

High cost, defects and size constraints they have to be joined together to make a surface wider than the diameter of the tree.

Define a hardwood:

A

They come from deciduous trees, they have broad leaves which drop off in the winter, take a long time to grow and are more expensive than softwoods.

Define softwood:

A

They come from coniferous trees, they have needles which don’t fall off in the winter, they take a short time to reach maturity and are less expensive than hardwoods.
