A

No size constraints, no defects, made using low grade recycled wood and wide range of finishes can be applied.

Disadvantages of manufactured boards.

A

The adhesives used to bond the boards can contain hazardous particles, machining and sanding boards cause small particles of dust to be released which should not be breathed in as well as tools can blunt easily.

A

characteristics: rigid, stable, good value with smooth easy to finish surface, but very absorbent so not good in damp areas.
example uses: flat pack furniture, kitchen units and internal construction.
