Q

Q

Synergists, origins and insertion:

A

Other muscles that support the agonist = synergists
The tendon of the muscle joins the stationary bone = origin
The tendon of the muscle joins the moving bone = insertion.

16
Q

Isometric:

A

Muscle stays the same length as a result, there is no movement. Trapezius works when maintains our posture or hand push.

17
Q

Isotonic:

A

Muscle changes length as it works; lengthening or contracting. Shortening is concentric contraction, lengthening is called eccentric. Hamstrings and quadriceps when performing squats or biceps curl.

18
Q

Deltoids:

A

Just above your collar bone.
