Pectineus
O : Pectineal line on the superior ramus of pubis
I : Proximal posterior shaft of the femur at the pectineal line of the femur
A :
1. Adducts the thigh at the hip joint
2. Flexes the thigh at the hip joint
Adductor Longus
O : Anterior body of pubis
I : Middle 1/3 of the medial lip of the linea aspera of the femur
A :
1. Adducts the thigh at the hip joint
2. Flexes the thigh at the hip joint
Gracilis
O : Anterior body and inferior ramus of pubis
I : Proximal, medial shaft of the tibia at pes anserine tendon
A :
1. Adducts the thigh at the hip joint
2. Flexes the leg at the knee joint
Adductor Brevis
O : Inferior ramus of pubis
I : Proximal 1/3 of the linea aspera of the femur
A :
1. Adduct the thigh at the hip joint
2. Flex the thigh at the hip joint
Adductor Magnus
O (Anterior Head) : Inferior ramus of pubis and ramus of ischium
O (Posterior Head) : Ischial tuberosity
I (Anterior Head) : Gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera and medial supracondylar line of the femur
I (Posterior Head) : Adductor tubercle of the femur
A :
1. Adducts the thigh at the hip joint
2. Extends the thigh at the hip joint
