Q

Anterior scalene

A

Origin: lower cervical vertabrae
Insertion: 1st rib
Innervation: direct branch of brachial plexus
Function: elevates 1st and 2nd rib. If ribs stabilized, contraction causes ipislatersal side bend and ipsi lateral rotation
