Striated fibers, single nucleus per fiber, intercalated disc, involuntary
What are the features of smooth muscle?
Nonstriated, single nucleus per fiber, involuntary muscle
What is the location of smooth muscle?
Walls of internal organs such as stomach, intestine, urinary bladder, uterus, and blood vessels.
What is the function of skeletal muscle?
Movement, posture and heat production
What is the function of smooth muscle?
Moves food and fluid through organs and passageways of body
What is the function of cardiac muscle?
Pump blood
