Q

What are the common cell types found in connective tissue?

A
  1. Fibroblasts - produce 3 protein fibers
  2. Plasma cells - produce antibodies
  3. Macrophage - Phagocytic cells
  4. Mast cells - contain histamine (inflammatory substance) + heparin (anticoagulant)
  5. Lymphocytes - Type of WBC
  6. Neutrophils & Eosinophils - specialized wbc’s
