- no need to fixate
- push the foot down as hard as you can
- not able to isolate with other plantar flexer
seeing the contraction of gastro belly means correct testing

- weakness:
if a foot is slightly inverted and where the proneus muscle attaches are sore. taping will help to put the foot in more neutral position. if it is helpful, orthotics will be beneficial - the pain is commin in cavus foot.

-hold the foot in plantar flexed position

- Fixate the foot at the MPJ in a neutral position
- not a subtalar joint, it is an ankle neutral
- apply the pressure against the plantra surface of proximal phalanx

-apply pressure against the distal part of the phalanx
