Define multi-store model

A

Rep. of how memory works in 3 stores - sensory register, STM and LTM.
Describes how info is transferred from one store to another and how it’s forgotten/remembered

Define sensory register.

A

Memory stores for our senses. Coding in iconic sensory register is visual and acoustic in echoic sensory register.
Capacity of sensory registers is huge and and info lasts less than half a second.
