Rotates around an axis

Flexion
Decreases angle
Extension
Increases angle
Abduction
Away from midline of body
Adduction
Towards the midline of the body
Lateral rotation
Rotates away from midline
Medial rotation
Rotates towards midline of body
Circumduction
Proximal end is at a fixed point, distal end moves in circle
Supination
Palm up. Radius and ulna parallel
Pronation
Palm down. Radius rotates around ulna, crossing them
Dorsiflexion
Decreases anterior angle at ankle. Toes lifted up.
Plantar flexion
Decreases posterior angle at ankle. Standing on tippy toes
