Movement Analysis Flashcards
Sagittarius plane/Transverse axis
-passes through the body front to back, so dividing it into left and right
-elbow and knee flexion and extension
Frontal plane/sagital axis
-A plane/axis that passes through the side of the body, so dividing it into front and back
-Shoulder and hip (abduction and abduction)
Transverse plane and longitudinal axis
-Passes through the middle of the body, so dividing it into bottom and top
-Shoulder and hip (horizontal abduction and abduction)
Elbow flexion
Agonist: Biceps
