What is a grievance?
A grievance is a dispute of one or another employee, or a dispute between the State and CAHP involving the interpretation, application, or enforcement of the express terms of the Agreement.
The purpose of the grievance procedure?
To resolve grievances at the lowest possible level and to provide an orderly procedure for reviewing and resolving grievances involving the interpretation, application, or enforcement of the express terms of the Bargaining Unit Agreement.
Informal Discussion
An employee grievance initially shall be discussed with the employee’s immediate supervisor.
