-stand and face oncoming traffic -check your location (number on nearest post marker) before call -give information to emergency service

wait for safe gap. gain speed on hard shoulder before moving out to carriage way -if you cant then put hazard warning lights on. -leave vehicle when you can get clear of the carriage way safely
