bends, junctions, roundabouts, parked vehicles
how should you respond to a static hazard?
-take mental note of their existence
-slow down and get ready to stop if needed

“what if theres pedestrians or obstruction just around the bend, could i stop in time? Could i do it safely?”
what should you watch out for in a car in a busy area?
-children dashing out from between cars
-car doors opening
-cars moving away
what should you do when approaching a junction in a busy area?
pull forward slowlwy ubtil you can see the road, dont block junction
what ahoukd you be ready to do if the lanes are closed?
-be ready for cars cutting infront
-keep safe distance from vehicle infront
what should you do if you see a hazard on a dual carriage way, or a motorway?
use hazard warning lights to warn traffic behind
what should you do if youve broken down, and is causing an obstruction?

what are the different types of moving hazards?
pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders, large vehicles drivers, slow moving vehicles
what shoukd you do when you see a pedestrian in built uo areas?
be patient and not make then rush
(on country roads, look out for pedestrains walking along/ side of road)
why should you be aware of cyclists?
-they may wobble/ swerve to avoid drains or potholes
-at junction/ traffic light give them time to pull away or turn
-before turning left check for cyclists filtering on your left
what should you think when seeing a bus at a bust stop?
-poeple may get of the bus and cross the road
-buses might move of or stop at random places
what should you take note of at some bridges?
high vehicles need use centre of road to pass underneath
what should you take into consideration with older drivers?
-they may not react very quickly, so be patient
what sighns do some vehicles have at the back of them?
-road maintainance vehicles
-large good vehicle over 13 meters long
-vehciles carrying hazardous chemicals

-turning left shortly afterwards
-if sighns and road markings prohibit it
-when approching a junction
-when view ahead is blocked

-use mirrors, (may be convex to give wider view)
-not too be tired
-statying concentrated
-avoid dribking alchohol before driving
-have safe eye sight
-being fit to drive
-using illegal drugs
what should you do if you feel tired?
-pull over at safe and legal place
-on motorway, leave at next exit/ service
how can your concentration be affected?
-using mobile headpones
-listening to loud music
- looking at map/ satellitie navigation equipment
what should you do if you had an arguement?
calm down before you start your journy
what are the consequenuces of drinking alchahol?
-reduce concentration
-gives false sense of confidence
-reduces judgment of speed
-slows down your reaction
what should you do if you need to take medication before yoy drive?
check label or ask pharmicist if its safe to take
what will happen if youve been convicted through driving via drug use?
