Process Theories; Goal Setting
By setting specific & difficult goals motivation is increased;
-Get attention & help to focus
-Energise to attain
-Increase persistence
-Help discover strategies.
Assumes a) belief in self, b) desire to achieve.

- Reward - Goals.
All three must be in tact to motivate.
