A command to someone

What does the present tense participle describe?
an action happening at the same time as the main verb, simultaneous actions.
What does the aorist participle describe?
an action that happened before the main verb, sequential actions.
e.g. having verbed - Jesus, having walked, was teaching the men
What happens when a participle has a definite article before it?
It becomes a noun.
e.g. ὁ περιπατων = the walking man/person/one
