Verbs that end in μ ν ρ or λ
How do liquid aorist verbs change?
there are usually minor changes to the stem
instead of the sigma

stem change, no sneaky sigma, imperfect endings = 2nd aorist
stem change, no sneaky sigma, aorist endings = 1st aorist of a liquid verb.

there are usually minor changes to the stem, along with the -εω
verb endings.
How to tell the different between some future and present liquid verbs?
for liquid verbs there will be a
circumflex accent in the future, and not in the present
e.g. μενω = μενῶ, κρινει = κρινεῖ
What are some stem changes for liquid verbs?
Some stems stay the same in the aorist, and get shortened in the future
e.g. σπειρω - σπερεω - ἐσπειρα
Some lose their final double consonant in future/aorist, and get lengthened in aorist
e.g. ἀποστελλω - ἀποστελεω - ἀπεστειλα
Some have no change in the future, and get lengthened in the aorist
e.g. μενω - μενεω - ἐμεινα
