Situation investigation and problem analysis

A

BA may be presented with informal/formal statements of problem which is incomplete

BA have to investigate business situations in order to determine where the root causes of the problem lie and ensure symptoms of the problem are not confused with underlying, real issues e.g may have in Italy been IT issues, but day 2 script inconsistency so sales people had different scripts so different results

Feasibility assessment and business case development

A

This is examining the problem/opportunities ad the potential solutions identified.

Developing business options to address these issues and evaluating these options for feasibility

Options may include changes to business processes, management structures and IT systems.

Feasibility test- is it technically and financially feasible?
