Uniform Resource Locator; a unique alphanumerical address for a web page
What is an IP address?
numerical address that uniquely identifies a computer on a network or the internet
What is a web portal?
A starting point for searching the web, offering links to different subjects (e.g., Yahoo).
Give an example of an informational website
Websites like the South African Revenue Service provide information to the public.
What is the purpose of a business or marketing website?
provide information about products or services that can be purchased (e.g., Takealot).
What does a wiki website allow
Collaborative creation and editing of web pages (e.g., Wikipedia).
Name a type of website that provides entertainment.

What is a web application

What is the function of a search engine?
