Dedicated devices are designed to do just one thing 
Examples of dedicated devices
ATM machines, microwaves, washing machines

ICT system
An ICT (Information and Communication Technology) system is a setup that uses computers and communication tools to manage and share information.
How ICT system works
-you collect data, which is stored, communicated or processed immediately
-Data can be sent for processing as it is collected, or it is retrieved from storage or communication
-The information created by processing is displayed, sent to storage, or communicated further
Examples of ICT systems
Computer systems, cell phone systems and a POS system
A POS system
This is a point of sales system uses barcodes and scanning, more accurate and faster usually connected to a computer data 
Advantages of POS system
- Efficiency: Speeds up the checkout process and reduces waiting times.
- Accuracy: Minimizes human errors in transactions and inventory management.
- Inventory Management: Tracks stock levels in real-time, aiding in restocking and reducing overstock.
