Q

What is GL?

A
  • Stands for Glycemic load and is the total sugar and carb equation. Takes in to account the carbohydrate per serving. I.e watermelon has high GI, but low GL due to how much is consumed to get that high, whereas fructose has low GI, but high GL because its so concentrated and dense in its form.
