Director of Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. Great at funding. There for ten years and brought in ten million dollars for research.
Francis Campbell
Founder of the royal normal college and academy of music for the blind in Brittain. One of Samuel Gridley Howe’s blind teachers at Perkins. Knighted for his work as an educator of blind children.
C. Warren Bledsoe
Wrote the chapter on originators of O&M training. Followed in father’s footsteps, dad made him a teacher at Maryland school for the blind. Worked with Hoover at Maryland. Transferred to valley forge. Hoover convinced him that canes were the way to go for obstacle perception.
