why were there so many improvements?
A
This changed happened due to various factors such as: lots of government funding on research and money from drug companies, new ideas spread quickly due to tv newspapers and the internet, attitudes from the government changed, lots of new technology

what did the beveridge report include?
A
- Beveridges reforms included: the NHS, this was opposed by doctors but the minister of health promised them a good salary and the opportunity to still treat private patients, weekly family allowance, benefeits, school leaving age raised to 15. This was paid for mostly by taxes.

what happened in terms of goverment after the war?
A
- Beveridge wrote a report near the end of ww2 saying what problems Britain would face after the war it was very popular. Labour promised to follow this but the Conservatives didn’t so they weren’t elected.
