Passive range of motion
Movement produced by external forces without volontary contraction.
Active range of motion
Movement produced by volontary contration
Active assisted range of motion
Movement produced by volontary contraction while the practitioner assists and physically guides the motion.
Active resisted range of motion
Movement produced by volontary contraction while the practitioner resists
Mobilizations
Occur by passively moving a joint to the end of its passive range of motion.
Stretching
Passive positioning of muscle attachment sites as far from one another as possible.
Pin and stretch
Used to stretch a muscle between a pinned point and a muscle attachment. The muscle is pinned to an underlying bone.

Rotation, lateral flexion and rotation with lateral flexion
Mobilizations available for the wrists and hands
Flip wrist, interlace fingers and mobilize wrist, metacarpal scissors, pull and circumduct fingers.

Arm pull, circles.
Mobilizations available for the spine
Spinal rotations 1 through 4.
Mobilizations available for the hips and knees
Leg pull, leg rock, hip clock stretch, hip circles, glute, hamstring and calf stretch, adductor, quadriceps and ilipsoas stretches.
Mobilizations available for the ankles and feet
Ankle mobilization, calf stretch, metatarsal scissors, pull and circumduct toes.
