Functions- Healthy red blood cells, makes haemoglobin which is needed to carry oxygen around the body to give us energy
Sources- Red meat, liver, fortified breakfast cereals, whole cereals, brown bread and green vegetables
Deficiency diseases- Feeling of tiredness and weakness which leads to anaemia
