Dietary fibre
Fibre is extremely important in our diet. We must have water in our body in order for fibre to work properly
How does fibre work in our body
When we eat fibre it absorbs water and becomes bulky. It causes a muscular movement called peristalsis. The fibre along with the muscles pushes food and any unwanted waste out of the body. Fibre prevents constipation and other bowel disorders.
