King Tut was given the thrown as a young child, but Hatshepsut took it away. He was pharaoh for 10 years, from when he was 9-19. He did not do anything great while he was pharaoh, but his tomb started it all. It taught us about the Egyptian past.
Qin Shihuangdi
Declared himself China’s first emperor, Ruler of China who united China for the first time. He built road and canals and began the Great Wall of China. He also imposed a standard system of laws, money, weights, and writing.
Heinrich Schliemann
Discovered Troy in Turkey. He ravaged the site so that he could prove it was Troy. He also found Mycenae in 1876.

British archaeologist who led excavation to uncover the city of Ur; started in 1922 and lasted for 12 years
Sir Arthur Evans
English archaeologist most famous for unearthing the palace of Knossos on the Greek island of Crete and for developing the concept of Minoan civilization from the structures and artifacts found there and elsewhere throughout the eastern Mediterranean. Along with Heinrich Schliemann he was a pioneer in the study of Aegean civilization in the Bronze Age.
